The rough idea for the future is that vehicles would be self-driving and completely autonomous as well as being completely reliant on electricity. This, as a result, would allegedly create a safer environment. These cars would constantly be connected with the world around it using cameras, sensors etc. Not much is known about what the future will hold but, this is a possibility.
