The first Car ever fabriated was by Carl Benz in 1979, hence the name Mercedes-Benz. This engine was built with only 2 cylinders at the time and it was first successfully started on new years eve. The structural and aesthetic features were developed later in 1885. In 1886, Carl requested a patent for his invention called “vehicle powered by a gas engine."
